Janet, my big sister, was a wonderful person! She was clever, funny, brave and happy. She loved her family very much and visiting her in Taastrup and Højby was always great fun because she was so kind and hospitable. She really enjoyed conversations about the family and her experiences. In England and in Denmark. My wife, Anca, and I will miss her enormously. We will think of her a lot and be happy that we were lucky enough to know her, both with Stig and after his death. In our garden in England, we have two mirabelle trees grown from fruit we picked from their home in Swainsthorpe, Norwich and another tree grown from cuttings Janet gave us. We have such fond memories of Janet and will always be glad we knew and loved her.
