afdøde.dk is provided jointly by the funeral directors and bereaved families who create the notices, and by hoej.dk a/s, which is a member of Danske Medier (Danish Media Association).

afdøde.dk is registered with the Danish Press Council and the Danish Data Protection Agency as a publicly accessible information database. Responsible editor: Martin Høj.

Text, graphics, images, audio and other content on this website are protected under copyright law. hoej.dk A/S reserves all rights to the content, including the right to use the content for text and data mining purposes, cf. section 11b of the Danish Copyright Act and Article 4 of the DSM Directive.

Placing death notices and acknowledgements

On afdøde.dk, you can create and order death notices and acknowledgements yourself. Payment is made by payment card or MobilePay before publication, or by prior agreement, possibly through the funeral director. When a notice is placed in a daily or weekly newspaper, the price is calculated automatically and shown before you place the order. All prices shown include VAT and the production fee.

Combined advertising

The notice is published on afdøde.dk and in one or more newspapers. This costs DKK 150,- plus the cost of placing the notice in the newspaper.

Online-only advertising

The notice is published only on afdøde.dk. An online-only notice costs DKK 600,-
