Lene and I were best friends when we both lived in the suburbs of New York. We corresponded for many years, after she returned to Copenhagen. She also visited with me in Scotland on her journey back home. I tried many times to find her through the internet, but was unable. Now I learn from another friend that she passed last year. That makes me very sad that we couldn't find each other again. If Lene had children and would like to reach out to me, I would be very happy to hear from them and how her mother lived.
