Like many others, Mads opened the door for my career and place at IKEA. His warmth, deep kindness and intellect made working with him some of my most memorable years at IKEA. We connected over music (it took a while before he revealed his hit records..), over politics (we together came up with new names for the 45th American president), over pets (his cats, my dog) and family. Over life. The world needs many more like Mads, and now we are less one great one. Heartfelt condolences to the entire Lundberg family. May your grief be softened by the knowledge of how many lives Mads touched.
