Anne always remembered my birthdays, sent me a mail asking how I was doing. She reached out and stayed in touch. I am grateful that she cared. We had talked a few weeks before she got sick as my Mikkel was at her house. We joked and laughed and it was the Anne I had come to know, pragmatic and at the same time rich with feelings and experience, someone I found easy to connect with. I am very sad she is not with us anymore
